The theme of this blog has been created by taking the Classic theme of WP 2.2 and adding / changing stuff around. It’s very light weight as it uses almost no images except for a few icons here and there and the header image. I have especially looked at the K2 and Fresh themes (i have used both in the past here) layout and code for inspiration.

The jQuery javascript framework has been used for the archive and recent posts slide up and down effect.

Updates :

• June 10th 2007 – Added an archive page. Also created a Greendale archive plugin with which you can search through the posts on Year and Month Ajax styles.
• Feb 9th 2009 – Removed the mootools javascript and rewrote the scripts for jQuery as that is already included in wordpress now. Pages seem to load quicker, and the archive is very snappy now . Also the jQuery lightbox now works properly !
• Feb. 22 2009 – Added the watermark to the search box
• Mar 6th 2010 – Some adjustments to the CSS file, rounded corners are gone and some margins adjusted
